Bike laws, please read up!
Bicycling in Dorchester can be challenge - it would help if drivers would look before opening their doors (there's a $100 fine for 'dooring' a cyclist) and not pass me then take a right turn in front of me! See bike laws here.

Light your bike on Nov. 11th
On Thursday 11/11, DotBike is distributing free lights to cyclists on Dorchester Avenue, from 5:30 PM to 7 PM. Clocks were turned back this past weekend, which makes the ride home much darker this time of year.

Ashmont Farmers' Market today at 3 PM has ukelele music and free coffee while you shop, tomorrow (Saturday Oct. 23) you can tour Dorchester orchards and public artwork by bike, and don't forget Dorchester Open Studios is this weekend! See this link.

DotBike's Shiny Green Dot Ride after Boston Shines this Saturday 4/24
Starts at 1 p.m. from the Hallet Street parking area at Pope John Paul II Park. DotBike has added bike borrowing to their ride this year - reserve by noon Thursday April 22!
